Has anyone here recently traveled through CLT Terminal? I'm curious about how easy it is to navigate the terminal, especially for someone visiting for the first time.
I'm mainly wondering about the layout, security process, and how much walking is involved between the different concourses. I've heard the airport can get pretty busy, so I'm also interested in knowing how early people recommend arriving before a flight.
Another thing I'd like to know is whether there are enough restaurants, cafés, and places to sit while waiting for a flight. For anyone with a longer layover, are there comfortable areas where you can relax without feeling like you're constantly in the way?
I'd also appreciate any tips for connecting flights. Are the signs easy to follow, and is it generally straightforward to find another gate?
