Web WhatsApp is a browser-based extension of the WhatsApp mobile application that allows users to access and use their WhatsApp account directly from a computer. It offers a convenient way to stay connected without constantly checking your phone. To get started, open a web browser and visit web.whatsapp.com. You’ll see a QR code on the screen. Now, open WhatsApp on your smartphone, tap the three dots in the top-right corner (for Android) or go to settings (for iPhone), and select “Linked Devices.” Then tap on “Link a Device” and scan the QR code displayed on your computer screen using your phone's camera. Once scanned, your WhatsApp account will mirror on the browser, allowing you to send and receive messages, images, videos, voice notes, and documents from your desktop.

Web WhatsApp is especially useful for people working on computers, as it allows multitasking and faster typing with a physical keyboard. It supports real-time notifications and syncs all chats and media between the phone and the web interface. However, for Web WhatsApp to work, your phone must remain connected to the internet. If the phone is offline or has no internet connection Web whatsapp, the web version will not function.

Although Web WhatsApp provides nearly all the functionalities of the mobile app, some features like video or voice calling may be limited. To log out, you can either do it directly from the browser or via your phone under “Linked Devices.”
