Absolutely, you can propagate pothos from soil – it's a sure shot technique. Cutting with at least one node and pot it in a well draining pot mix. Apply water so that the soil is moist all the time but not water logged. A plastic bag over the cutting will help to hold moisture and promote quicker rooting. Keep in indirect light and do not disturb as much as possible. Roots will generally root in within weeks and is ready for normal care.
