Has anyone else traveled through Charlotte Douglas International Airport recently? I’m curious about other travelers’ experiences, especially when it comes to navigating the terminal and making connections.
I found the airport fairly straightforward to get around, but it can still feel busy during peak travel times. The layout is convenient, and having different concourses connected to the main terminal makes transferring between flights manageable. That said, I would definitely recommend allowing extra time if you have a short connection.
I also liked having plenty of places to grab coffee, food, or a quick snack while waiting for a flight. If you are traveling with family, arriving early seems especially helpful since security lines and walking between gates can take longer than expected.
For anyone who has flown through Charlotte recently, what was your experience like? Were the security lines reasonable, and did you find the airport easy to navigate? I’d also love to hear any tips you have for first-time travelers passing through.
