I recently found myself thinking about how much easier airport travel can be when you know what to expect ahead of time. Orlando is a busy airport, but the overall experience can be pretty straightforward if you arrive early and give yourself enough time to get through check-in and security.
The MCO Airport is large, and there can be quite a bit of walking, especially if you are traveling with children or carrying several bags. I would definitely recommend checking your gate information when you arrive because things can change.
There are plenty of places to grab food, coffee, or a quick snack while waiting for a flight. If you have a long layover, it is also a good idea to charge your phone, get something to eat, and keep an eye on the departure screens.
For anyone visiting for the first time, my biggest tip would be simple: don't rush. Arriving early makes the whole experience feel much less stressful.
